Description
As I’ve said many times in the past, we often ask children to do things for which they’re clearly unsuited. With transitions, for example, we want children to be quiet, stay still, and form a line – three things they are not yet developmentally ready to do! In the same way, we sometimes seem to forget whom we’re dealing with when other situations arise.
In this video, we look at the way three common situations are usually handled, and I offer suggestions for how we might switch things up a bit to ensure a more peaceful environment.
